Latest Golden Palace purchase on eBay. First interview with the Pink Bunny Himself.

On March 31, 2005 Golden Palace purchased another one of their unique advertising ventures. This time they purchased a PINK BUNNY! Yes a Pink Bunny for $15,100.

 

Let me explain a little better. There was an eBay auction for a poker player to wear a Pink Bunny suit with a company's advertising on it. Jeremy Enke has guaranteed he will play in the World Series of Poker wearing the costume or at least a Pink Leisure suit if the WSOP will not let him play in the costume. Not only that wear it wherever he goes in Las Vegas during the time he is there.

 

When asked where he came up with the idea he stated "One night I was playing No Limit Texas Hold 'Em with a few friends and the question came up, Would I play in the World Series of Poker wearing a Pink Bunny Suit?" Yes he would and will this July in Las Vegas. He will play in a Pink Bunny Suit with Golden Palace all over it.

 

This is first attempt at marketing his services as The Pink Bunny. He stated that "I have always had a passion for marketing with an "outside the box perspective"...but I have never incorporated body advertising into any of my campaigns." Jeremy is a successful poker affiliate and author of Party Riches.

 

He was very surprised by how high the bidding had gotten. He was not expecting it to get over $5,000 and the hit counter was non-stop during the last hours of the auction. (Up to 1000 in the last minutes)

 

On his chances in the WSOP he believes if he can have a good first few days he will have a chance at the money and players will believe he id Dead Money (one who is there to fill a seat and no poker skills). He is going to try to capitalize on their mistakes and trying to bully him.

 

Jeremy is very committed to this, he said when asked if they thought Harrah's would allow him to play in the bunny suit, "If they don't I suppose I'll just hire 20 guys to picket outside of the event. Walking with signs that say, "Let the Pink Bunny Play", "Bunnies Play Poker Too" or "Harrah's Discriminates Against Rabbits". This would probably get more media attention." Either way I believe Golden Palace will get their monies worth from this one.
